Inspector Notes

An unannounced health and safety inspection was conducted on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 to determine the provider?s compliance with subsidy standards. The inspection begin at 10:30 AM and concluded at 11:40 AM. There were 3 children in care totaling 7 points with one caregiver supervising. The inspector observed the children participating in virtual learning, playing with toys and napping. The family day home has age and stage appropriate materials. The family day home had the following required information posted; the license, last inspection notice, emergency numbers, daily schedule, menu, evacuation plan, and additional parent information. The inspector interacted with the caregivers and children in care. Three children's records, two caregiver records, and one household member?s record were reviewed. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
