During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 6/23/2025. The on-site inspection began at 11:50 am and ended at 5:40 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 83 children present and 17 staff. The inspector reviewed 9 children?s records and 10 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-770-70-A
Documentation of at least 2 references to character, reputation, and competency are to be checked prior to employment. There were no completed references for Staff #2, #3, #5, #7, #8, #9, & #10.
Plan of Correction: Will be documented and placed in staff records within 10 days. Licensee misunderstood communication and thought that references were no longer required to be documented in staff records. Will ensure they are in the records going forward.

Shelter in place procedures shall be practiced a minimum of twice per year. Only one Shelter in Place Drill was conducted in the previous 12 month period.
Plan of Correction: Will ensure a minimum of 2 Shelter in Place Drills are conducted and documented during the current 12 month period.
