Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted between the hours of 9:50am through 10:45am. There was 1 child present (3 points) with the Provider and 1 assistant. A total of 1 child file and 2 staff files were reviewed. The child in care was observed engaging in free play. A complete inspection of the programming space, children and staff records, emergency drills, menu, attendance, and emergency procedures were completed today. The provider advised there was no medication on site today. There was an abundant supply of age appropriate materials and toys. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on record review and staff interview, the provider did not ensure that orientation is completed for assistants by the end of their first week of assuming job responsibilities.

Evidence: Staff #2 (Date of Hire: 5/31/2022) did not have orientation on file at the time of inspection.
Plan of Correction: This issue has been corrected.
