A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on August 23, 2023 and concluded on August 28, 2023. During the in person inspection, there were 29 children and 8 staff were present including administrative staff. The children were observed eating lunch, preparing for napping in classroom, and completing bathroom breaks. The sample size was 3 children and 3 staff records. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable
standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and interview, the provider did not ensure all hazardous substances are kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.
Evidence: During the inspection on August 23,2023, there were multiple areas at the program where hazardous substances were observed accessible to children and with the labels "keep out of reach of children", "warning", and "caution".
In the lunch room area, there were bottles of sanitizer on the table nearby the entry.
The hallway utility closet was observed unlocked containing multiple cleaners, and disinfectants.
In the Threes classroom areas there were bottles of sanitizer on the desk area.
Interview with staff confirmed the storage of hazardous substances at the program.
