Inspector Notes

A code compliance inspection was conducted on October 19, 2023 from approximately 4:20 pm to 5:20 pm. There were15 children present, ranging in ages from 6 to 13 years, with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, and medication. A total of 5 children's records and 4 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable code sections and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, and interview, the center failed to ensure that at least one staff person is trained to perform a daily simple health screening.
Evidence: 4 out of 4 records reviewed did not contain documentation of training of daily health screening. The Director confirmed that no staff were trained to perform daily health screenings.
