Inspector Notes
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on May 23, 2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted form 3:30 p.m. through 5:15 p.m. There were thirty-seven children in the care of six staff. Four children's and two new staff records were reviewed. Two medication authorizations were reviewed. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
Areas observed were: indoor games, homework, hand washing/bathroom procedures and snack. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as appropriate and the children seemed comfortable with their daily routine and schedule.
