Inspector Notes
An unannounced health and safety inspection was conducted on Tuesday, November 11, 2022 to determine the center?s compliance with subsidy standards. The inspection begin at 12:30 PM and concluded at 2:30 PM. The census for today?s inspection consisted of 37 children with 5 staff supervising. During the tour, the inspector observed the children napping. The inspector observed 5 classrooms, restrooms, kitchen, playground, and buses. The center's first aid kit and non-medical emergency supplies were inspected and found complete. The required postings were inspected and found to be in compliance. Liability insurance, and drills were all in compliance. Medication is being administered, medications, and written authorizations were reviewed for the center's compliance. There were five children's records and five staff records reviewed. A sampling of 3 injury reports were reviewed and found to be incompliance.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
