Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between the hours of 2:30pm-4:00pm. There were11 children directly supervised by the provider and 2 caregivers. The home, 2 caregiver records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, and emergency supplies were inspected. Children were observed during naptime. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on record review, 1 of 2 caregiver records reviewed did not contain all required components.

Evidence:
1. The record for Caregiver #1 did not contain the date of employment.
2. References obtained did not contain a date.
Plan of Correction: The caregiver record will be updated.

Based on observation, cots were not at least 12 inches from each other.

Evidence:
Children were observed sleeping in cots that were less than 12 inches from each other.
Plan of Correction: We will arrange the cots differently.
