A subsidy inspection was conducted on 08/09/2022. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. Based on a record review and observation, the vendors did not ensure at least one staff in each classroom where children were present, had CPR and First Aid Training.
Evidence:
Staff #1 (hired 04/12/2022) stepped into a classroom to supervise a room of 15 sleeping preschool aged-children, while the lead teacher did a task outside of the classroom. Staff #1 did not have documentation of having a current certification in CPR and First Aid Training.
