Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was conducted on 4/27/2023 with center management. There were128 children present, ranging in ages from 4 months to 12 years, with18 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 10 child records and10 staff records were reviewed. The children were playing outside, arriving from school, eating afternoon snack, and age appropriate activities such as crafts, singing, and watching a movie.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and staff interview, the facility failed to maintain the required ratio of 1 staff for every five children age 16 months up to 24 months.
Evidence: On 4/27/2023, there were 11 children ages 16 months to age 24 months with two staff people supervising.
Plan of Correction: Classrooms will be staffed as required.
