Inspector Notes

An unannounced inspection was initiated on 7/25/2024 and completed on 8/8/2024 in response to a complaint received by the licensing office on7/25/2024 relating to allegations of daily activities for infants. This inspection included document review, interviews, and observations. The preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation; therefore, the complaint is determined to be not valid. Though not a part of the original complaint, violations that were not reported were found related to infant feeding and are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 8/19/2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Based on observation, the center did not ensure that infants under 12 months are placed in high chairs, infant carrier seats or feeding tables when they are not held while being fed.

Evidence: Staff #1 positioned Child #1 (Age 11 months) in a Boppy pillow on the floor and gave the infant a bottle for feeding while Staff #1 went to complete other classroom tasks.
