Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated on June 16, 2021 and concluded on June 17, 2021. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection at 10:20 a.m. A virtual inspection was then conducted. There were 7 children present ages 12 months through 4 years old for a total of 15 points with 2 staff. Children were observed having outdoor play. Childcare areas and supplies were observed The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed three children?s records and two staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Emergency drills were reviewed and up to date. Staff training was reviewed.

The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.

The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
