Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 11/9/22 from 11:45am to 1:00pm with the Director and two assistants. There were nine children in care with a total of 25 points. Children were observed napping. Five child records, the provider record, two caregiver records, one household member record, and one pet record were reviewed. The provider and both assistants have current certification in CPR and First Aid. The provider has current certification in Medication Administration Training, though she reported no medications were on site for children. The first aid kit, flashlight, weather band radio, fire extinguisher, and carbon monoxide detector were observed. The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were also reviewed. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Laura Brindle, at laura.brindle@doe.virginia.gov or 540-905-2062.
