Inspector Notes
An unannounced complaint investigation was initiated and concluded on 01/23/2024 in response to a complaint received by the licensing office on 12/15/2023 regarding staff and behavioral guidance. Interviews were conducted relating to the allegations on 01/23/2024. The information gathered during the investigation does support the allegation, so the complaint is determined to be "valid". Based on interview it was determined the center staff did not interact with one another in a way that promoted the children's physical, intellectual, emotional, and social well-being and growth.
Evidence:
1. 5 of the 5 staff interviewed confirmed that staff #3 and #5 got in altercation with each other that involved yelling and pushing in front of children in care.
2. 4 of the 5 staff confirmed that they were aware of at least one child that was visibly upset by the altercation.
3.Staff # 3 and #5 reported they felt they needed to apologize to the children for their behavior during this incident.

Plan of Correction: Staff have been trained to notify supervisor of any issues or concerns with their coworkers to ensure it is resolved appropriately.
