Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by staff using an alternative remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An on-site inspection of the facility was not conducted at this time however, photographs were submitted of the program/facility for the inspector to view.

An announced monitoring inspection was conducted at 1:30pm. The program director was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection, and given a list of items required to complete the inspection. There were 10 children + 3 staff present today. Ratios were in compliance. The school is currently operating weekly outdoor "camp" sessions, and intends to resume full school-year operations in the fall of 2021. Appropriate safeguards are being implemented for an outdoor program. Information gathered during the inspection determined there were no non-compliances with applicable standards or laws reviewed.
