Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at 11:25am. There were 14 children, 3 direct-care staff, and 2 co-op parent volunteers present. Ratios and supervision were in compliance at the time of the inspection. Children were observed playing in the sandbox, returning from outdoor snack and walk on the property, writing in journals, having creative play, making an art project, and being dismissed for the day. The facility was well supplied with materials and equipment for the children and activities. The program remains primarily an outdoor education program, but has indoor classroom space available. Information gathered during the inspection determined there were no non-compliances with applicable standards or laws reviewed. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@doe.virginia.gov

Note: The license has not been renewed due to unforeseen delays in obtaining updated County zoning documents, which are in-process. The licensee is considered to be operating legally at this time.
