Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on August 8, 2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The on-site inspection began at 9:30 a.m. and ended at 10:40 a.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 22 children present and 4 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 4 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, and observations. There were 0 medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined noncompliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

All staff who work directly with children shall have within 90 days of the date of employment current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the training shall include an in person competency demonstration. Staff #1 has been employed for 5 months and was observed working with children. Staff #1's CPR training did not include an in-person competency demonstration.
