Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between the hours of approximately 2:30 p.m. and 3:05 p.m. to ensure compliance with a recently issued Provisional license. At the start of the inspection, there were 10 children present with the assistant for a total of 25 points exceeding the supervision guidelines. The provider arrived to the Family Day Home approximately 11 minutes after the start of the inspection. The children were observed napping. A complete inspection of the physical plant, attendance, and topical products were observed during this inspection. A walk-through of the home was completed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, please e-mail me at tameika.king@ doe.virginia.gov.
