Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 2/22/2024 at approximately 11:25am and concluded on 2/22/2024 at approximately 12:10pm. There were a total of 8 children (20 points) observed with 1 caregivers present. The children were engaged in the following: toy play, cleaning, bathroom breaks, hand washing, and preparing for naptime. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel and household members, physical environment, care of children, handwashing, diapering, medication, emergencies and nutrition. A total of 8 child records and 1 caregiver/household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation and confirmed by the provider, the provider exceeded 16 points of children in care for one provider.

Evidence: There were 8 children in care totaling 20 points with one provider.

Based on review of emergency evacuation drills and confirmed by the provider, it was determined that emergency evacuation drills were not being practiced monthly.

Evidence: Emergency evacuation drills were not being performed or logged.
