8VAC20-820 THE LICENSE.

During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An announced consultation/training inspection was conducted on October 18, 2024 from 12:45 pm to 2:40 pm and completed on October 25, 2024. Licensing reviewed with Provider previous violations that were cited. Licensing provided training on the standards in the areas of compliance.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on November 4, 2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard 8VAC20-800-520-A
Cribs shall be provided for children from birth through 12 months of age and for children over 12 months of age who are not developmentally ready to sleep on a cot, rest mat, or bed. Child A was sleeping in a bouncer.
Plan of Correction: 1) Will stay complaint with standards by providing cribs to children from brirth through 12 months of age
2)Will provide training periodically to staff to avodi recoccurence of any non-complaint actions
3) Shaista Mirza will be responsible for implementing each step and/or preventing any measures.
Standard 8VAC20-800-530-F
No soft bedding of any kind shall be used under or around infants including, but not limited to, pillows, quilts, comforters, sheepskins, or stuffed toys. Child A had a blanket covered over bouncer while sleeping.
Plan of Correction: 1) WIll stay complaint with standards by not using any soft bedding under or around infants
2) Will provide training peridically to staff to avoid reoccurence of any non-complaint actions
3) Shaista Mirza will be repsonsible for implementing each step and/or preventing any measures.
