Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There were 6 children (13 points)present after school today.
Children were observed playing with toys and during a diaper change.
Emergency evacuation drills, first aid supplies, emergency supplies and fridge/freezer temperatures were all in compliance today.
Violations were discussed with the provider at the exit interview.

Based on a review of records, one household member's record did not contain documentation of a nationwide fingerprint search, within the allowable 5 year time frame.
Evidence:
Household member #1's record contained a nationwide fingerprint search dated 8/1/18. (expired)
Plan of Correction: The fingerprints were repeated. I will find the results and send them to you, or they will be done again.

Based on a review of records, caregiver records did not contain documentation of a repeated Tuberculosis screening within the allowable 2 year time frame.
Evidence:
2 caregiver records were reviewed.
1. Caregiver A's record contained documentation of a negative TB screening result dated 7/7/21. (Expired)
2. Caregiver B's record contained documentation of a negative TB screening result dated 10/17/21. (Expired)
Plan of Correction: TB screenings will be obtained for both caregivers.
