Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 12/14/2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. There were 2 children present, both 2 years old, with 1 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 1 staff record was reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure that the hot water at taps available to children were maintained between 105-120 degrees.
Evidence:
1. The hot water in the sink of the bathroom that the children use was measured with a thermometer and was 136 degrees.
Plan of Correction: Will bring water down to 120 degrees.
