Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on February 8, 2022 and concluded on February 9, 2022. There were fourteen children present with two staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program

Based on review, vendor did not ensure 1 of 3 staff are certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 90 days of employment.

Evidence: The record for staff #1 (start date August 23, 2021) did not have current CPR certification.
