Inspector Notes
An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 9/17/2025. The on-site inspection began at 9:20 am and ended at 11:15 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 42 children present and 5 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 3 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Standard 8VAC20-780-280-B
Hazardous substances must be in a locked place that prevents access by children. In the Pre K 4 bathroom, disinfectant wipes and spray were in an unlocked cabinet, out of reach of children. In the Gym, two containers of disinfectant wipes and one hand sanitizer bottle were sitting on cabinets, within reach of children. In the girls bathroom, disinfectant wipes were on the paper towel dispenser, out of reach of children.
Plan of Correction: All were taken care of during the inspection.

The center is required to keep a current list of all known allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions in each room or area where children are present. The list must be dated and kept confidential. The list in the Pre K 3 and Pre K 4 rooms were posted but not confidential.
