Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on September 23, 2025 and completed on September 23, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 11:11am and ended at 1:35pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 104 children present and 13 staff. The inspector reviewed 10 children?s records and 10 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 9/30/2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

REPEAT VIOLATION
Hazardous substances such as cleaning materials shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. A bottle of shaving cream was in an unlocked cabinet in the toddler classroom and a canister of sanitizing wipes and a plug in air freshener were in an unlocked cabinet in the three to five year old classroom. All items has the keep out if reach of children label.
Plan of Correction: Response from the director:
The can of shaving cream and the Glade plug in have been removed from the school. The wipes have been put in a locked cabinet.

Documentation of at least two references to character, reputation, and competency are to be checked prior to employment. Staff #1 only had no documentation of reference verifications on file.
Plan of Correction: Response from the director:
Both references for staff #1 were turned in the same day as the inspection. The file is complete.
