Behavioral guidance must be constructive in nature, age and stage appropriate, and must be intended to redirect children to appropriate behavior and resolve conflicts.
On October 21, 2025, during transition from the playground back into the classroom, Child A attempted to enter the doorway ahead of peers and pushed another child in order to get inside first. Staff #1's behavioral guidance was not constructive or appropriate as Staff #1 placed both hands on Child A (age 3) and pushed the child.

Plan of Correction: We self-reported the incident immediately. Staff #1 was terminated on 10/22/25. We held an emergency faculty meeting to retrain all staff on our behavior guidance policy, review their roles as mandated reporters, and had an open discussion about the supports available to them and appropriate ways to respond to difficult
behaviors. Directors will continue to step into classrooms daily to observe
appropriate interactions between teachers and students.
