Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 10?03/2024 and completed on the same date, as a part of licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 11:00 and ended at 12:00. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 16 children present and 2 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 2 staff records on site. This inspection included, document review, tour of the facility, interviews and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-40-M
The center shall maintain, in a way that is accessible to all staff who work with children, a current written list of all children's allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions documented in the allergy plan. This list shall be dated and kept confidential in each room or area where children are present.

The center does not have a written list of the children's allergies posted.
Plan of Correction: We will make sure we post a list of allergies.

The center can administer medication with an authorization from parents.

An authorization for an emergency medication is missing.
