Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:30am-10:00am. There were 8 children directly supervised by the provider. The home, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed watching a children's program on the television. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure that the total number of children receiving care at any one time does not exceed the maximum licensed capacity of the home.
Evidence;
On the date of inspection the provider was providing care to eight children. The provider's license allows for a maximum capacity of seven children.
