A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on June 22, 2023. There were 45 children present with 15 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a review of five staff records and interview, the vendor did not ensure three staff had documentation of current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the age of children in care within 90 days of the date of employment.
Evidence:
1) The record for staff #4 (hired on 10/11/22) did not have documentation of CPR certification. CPR certifications were not obtained within 90 days of their date of employment.
