Inspector Notes

An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted on 05/13/2024 from 11:20 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. The complaint was received on 05/06/2024 regarding administration, staffing and supervision, programs, special care provisions and emergencies and special services. Four staff members were interviewed and eight classrooms where observed.

Information gathered during the inspection supports at least one of the allegations and the complaint was determined to be valid. One complaint related violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and interview, the center failed to ensure that children?s hands are washed after toileting.
Evidence:
1. In the 2?s classroom, Staff #5 was observed changing a child?s diaper. After the diaper change, the child?s hands were not washed. Staff #5 confirmed that the child?s hands were not washed after the diaper change.
