Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 04/25/2025 as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 1:00pmand ended at 2:15pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews and observations. There were 3 children present and1 caregivers; the point total was 9. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 3caregiver/household member(s) records. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-240-A
Areas and furnishings of the family day home, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a safe, and operable condition. The flooring in the kitchen has pulled-up in areas exposing the wood.
Plan of Correction: The provider is making financial provision to have it repaired in the future. In the meantime, the areas that have curled up will be taped down and a rug placed over it.
