Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 2/22/2024 from 12:15 pm-1:05 pm. There were 8 children supervised by 2 direct caregivers. The home, 3 caregivers records, 4 children?s records, 1 household members record, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed eating lunch and napping. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Please submit your plan of correction within 5 business days for it to be included on the website. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Based on record review and interview, 1 of 3 caregiver files indicated that the provider has not ensured that each caregiver has submitted documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening within the last 30 calendar days of the date of employment.

Evidence:
1. The TB documentation on file for Caregiver #3 was dated 06/15/2023.
2. The start date for Caregiver #3 was listed as 05/15/2023.
Plan of Correction: Make sure 30 days before hire.

Based on observation and interview, small electrical appliances were not unplugged when not being used.

Evidence: The air fryer in the kitchen area was plugged in and was not in use.
