Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on 9/18/2024 and completed on 9/18/2024. The on-site inspection began at 9:30am and ended at 11:00am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 66 children present and 12 staff. The inspector reviewed 6 children?s records and 9 staff records on-site. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-160-A
Each staff member and individual from an independent contractor shall submit documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening at the time of hire and prior to coming into contact with children. Staff 4 worked for seven and a half months before providing a Tuberculosis screening.
Plan of Correction: We will ensure that screenings are obtained prior to hire.
