Inspector Notes
An unannounced Monitoring inspection was conducted today. A total of 5 children (9pts) with 2 staff were present during the inspection. The children were observed playing outside and actively engaged with staff. They took turns playing "hide and seek the object" with the staff. The backyard was equipped with toys, trikes and a large yard to run in. The children actively played together as they selected wooden blocks to build a hotel. Popsicles were provided and enjoyed by all. A nice transition was observed from playing outside to entering the home to prepare for lunch. The children went directly to wash their hands under the supervision of the assistant. Observation of the programming space, bathroom and kitchen area was made. The home was found neat and organized. No new children or staff from the last inspection. All children's records and staff records were reviewed along with 1 household member file. This inspection occurred between 10:45am and 12pm.
