Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/28/23 from 9:15am to 11:50am with the Director. There were 73 children in care, ranging in age from seven-months to five-years-old, supervised by 12 staff. The infants were observed having floor play, having diapers changed, and hands washed. The older children were observed having free play and looking at books, coloring, playing with dinosaurs and in the ?homeliving? area, and rotating through structured centers. Five child records and five staff records were reviewed. The Center has 20 staff with current certification in CPR and First Aid, and 20 staff trained in Daily Health Observation Training. A sample of nine medications and authorization forms were reviewed and the center has five staff current in Medication Administration Training (MAT). Required postings were observed. The attendance, menu, and emergency drill log were reviewed. The most recent Fire Inspection on file was dated 4/4/23 and the most recent Health Inspection on file was dated 1/4/23.
