During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 10/8/24. The on-site inspection began at 10:25am and ended at 12:35pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 73 children present and 11 staff. The inspector reviewed six children?s records and five staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-270-A
(Repeat Violation) Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a safe condition.

1. In the two-year-old classroom, the wooden lid to the sensory table was observed to have corners that were deteriorating and chipping away. 2. On the playground, three sitting scooter boards were observed to have handles that were broken off, posing a scratch hazard.
Plan of Correction: The items were removed from the classroom/playground during the inspection for disposal. A new lid will be ordered for the sensory table.
