8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes
Inspector Notes
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 09/09/2022 between the hours of approximately 2:55 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. There were 8 children present with the Provider and 2 assistants for a total of 22 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed listening to a story and engaging in free play. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. There were 0 medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
