Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on November 15, 2023 between the hours of approximately 11:00 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. There were 9 children present with the Provider and 2 assistants for a total of 24 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed practicing writing their names, participating in circle time, exercising, and other organized activities. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children, caregiver and household member records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Violations
3Evidence:
1. Child #3's hands were not washed after Caregiver #3 changed their diaper.
2. Child #4's hands were not washed after Caregiver #3 changed their diaper.
3. Child #5's hands were not washed after Caregiver #3 changed their diaper.
Evidence: Caregiver #3 did not clean and sanitize the diapering surface after changing Child #3, Child #4 and Child #5.
Evidence: The family day home did not practice emergency evacuation procedures in May 2023.
