8VAC20-790 SUBSIDY REGULATIONS.
Inspector Notes
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 11:10am to approximately 3:20pm. There were a total of 57 children in care in the direct care of 12 staff members. During the inspection, the children and staff were observed participating in a variety of activities. Staff were observed having positive interactions with the children. All areas of the facility used by the children were inspected. The center is equipped with toys and supplies and items were available to the children. The required postings were reviewed and found to be in compliance. Transportation is provided and one vehicle was inspected. Medication is administered when required and medications were reviewed. During the inspection, five children?s records and six staff records were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were no violations issued.
