Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 03/25/2024 and concluded with an electronic record review on 03/26/2024. There were 16 children, ages 4 years - 11 years, and 2 staff members providing direct care and supervision present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programs, emergencies, and nutrition. The children were observed during mealtime, and self-directed activities. A total of 5 children?s records, and 2 staff records were reviewed. The inspector arrived for the inspection at approximately 2:45 pm and departed at approximately 3:30 pm.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Based on observations, the center failed to ensure that children?s hands shall be washed with soap and running water or disposable wipes before and after eating meals or snacks.

Evidence: Children were observed returning to activities after afternoon snack without washing their hands or using a disposable wipe.
Plan of Correction: Provider will ensure that children wash hands or use a disposable wipe before and after meals.
