Inspector Notes

An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was initiated on 11/04/2024 and concluded on 11/04/2024. There were 8 children present with 2 caregivers supervising. A third caregiver arrived during the inspection. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The vendor shall maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.

The attendance record for the family day home did not include written documentation to indicate the time of arrival and departure of children in care.
Plan of Correction: The provider stated that the attendance sheet will be revised to include the time of arrival and departure of children.
