During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes
An unannounced , on-site renewal inspection was initiated on 11/04/2024 and completed on 11/04/2024. The on-site inspection began at 9:30 am and ended at 1:10 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 8 children present and 3 caregivers; the point total was 23. The inspector reviewed 8 children's records and 5 caregiver/household members records on-site.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Violations
6Caregiver 1, who has functioned as a substitute provider, had not signed into any type of record to indicate days and times worked in the family day home.
Child 1 was observed with a plastic gray object in his mouth. The object was round and approximately 1/2 inch in diameter and appeared to be a wheel that had fallen off of some type of plastic toy. Child 1 is under the age of 12 months.
Child 2, who was awake, was observed in an infant seat from approximately 9:30 am - 10:34 am when he was placed in a crib for a nap.
At 11:14 am child 2 was removed from the crib and placed in an infant seat until 12:10 pm. Child 2 was awake during this time.
Caregiver 1 did not wash the hands of child 1 after a diaper change at approximately 9:50 am.
Caregiver 2 did not wash the hands of child 2 after a diaper change at approximately 11:50 am.
There was no written documentation to indicate that the emergency plan for the family day home has been reviewed, and updated, annually. Written documentation on file indicates the plan was last reviewed by the provider on 10/14/2023.
Bottles of formula were not dated and labeled for two infants in care.
