Violations

1
Standard 8VAC20-790-180-B
Based on documentation review and interview with the provider, the vendor did not maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
Evidence:
1) At the time of entrance, 10 children were in care in the family day home. The attendance record had documented that only 7 children were in care. Upon interviewing the vendor, they stated that one of the children listed, had already left for the day. The attendance record did not document the departure of that child.
2) For previous dates, the attendance record did not document the departure of the children.
Plan of Correction: Moving forward, the vendor shall maintain an accurate attendance record for each day that documents the arrival and departure of each child as it occurs.
