Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 7/7/22. The center had 85 children in care with 14 staff\. The children were observed playing outside and doing activities inside. The center had a center wide magic show during the inspection. Today's lunch was Egg, rice, peas carrots and Pineapple. Observed interaction between caregivers and children. The center failed to keep the school age grouping in ratio.
Evidence: Based on the observation of the school age grouping. One staff was alone with 22 children. The second staff had gone inside and the staff way alone with 22 children for about 5 minutes.
Plan of Correction: We will discuss multitasking with the staff and make sure they know to stay in ratio. They can ask for back up if they need to use the restroom or do other tasks.

The center failed to have a first aid kit accessible to one group of children playing outside.
Evidence: The two year old playground did not have a first aid kit accessible during the inspection.
Plan of Correction: We will remind staff to take first aid kits with them to the playground or to keep them by the door to outside.
