A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 3/14/2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Based on record review, one staff did not complete the Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff sponsored by the Department of Education within the first 90 days of employment.
Evidence:
Staff 2's record did not contain documentation of completion for the Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff sponsored by the Department of Education. A certificate dated 3/14/2023 was emailed to the inspector after the inspection.
Plan of Correction: The course was completed and the certificated emailed to the inspector.
