Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated and concluded on 05/20/2024. There were eight children present with two staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of two staff records it was determined that not all records contained documentation of completion of the Virginia Preservice Training within the first 90 days of employment. Evidence: The record for staff A (start date: 09/18/23) did not contain documentation of completing the Virginia Preservice Training on file as required.
Plan of Correction: Staff A will complete the Virginia Preservice Training.
