Inspector Notes
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 4/23/2021 and concluded on 4/28/2021. The director was contacted by email to initiate the inspection. There were 50 children present with 10 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed three children?s records and three staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. The inspector also conducted a center tour and classroom observation via video call on 4/27/2021.
Information gathered during the inspection determined a non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

The request for a search of the central registry indicated that employee #1 had lived in North Carolina within the past five years. There was not a sex offender check available for this employee
