Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 06/04/2024 from 10:20 AM to 2:00 PM. There were 97 children present with 16 staff supervising ranging in age from infant to five years. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with subsidy regulations and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Based on record review and interview, the center failed to ensure all staff obtained certification in CPR within 90 days of the date of employment and keep the certification current.

Evidence:

The record for staff 2 has documentation of a CPR certification that expired 3/24.
The record for staff 8, employment date 12/11/23, does not have a CPR certification.
Plan of Correction: Staff 2 and 8 will be required to complete CPR training as soon as a class can be scheduled.
