An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director. There were 99 children in care ranging in ages from3 months through 5 years old under the care and supervision of 17 staff. Frequent positive interactions were observed among staff and children in care. Infants were observed being fed, sleeping and having play time on the floor. Older infants were having free play. Toddlers were observed during circle time and preparing for outdoor time. Two year olds, three year olds, four year olds and five year olds were observed during centers that included a variety of choices and activities.
Ten children's records and six staff records were reviewed. Eight medications, authorizations and allergy care plans were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
