Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was completed on 06/03/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 3:30 pm and ended at 4:43 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 25 children present and 6 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records. This inspection included a document review, tour of facility, interviews, observations and measurements. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.

Two bikes on the playground did not have pedals on the metal bars. One bike had exposed rust and the plastic seat was broken. The see-saw/rocker had exposed rust. Along the perimeter there is a 2-3" wide dip between the concrete and poured in place surfacing that creates a potential trip hazard.
Plan of Correction: Items will be repaired or removed.

Hazardous substances such as cleaning materials, insecticides, and pesticides shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

The cabinet in the Pooh and Friends class had multiple chemicals in the unlocked cabinet below the changing table.

The center is to maintain the staff to child ratio for birth to 16 months of 1:4.

There was one staff member with 5 infants.
Plan of Correction: Staff to child ratios will be maintained.
